Jonathan Price is a Senior Vice President and Corporate Retirement Practice Leader, based in Segal's New York office. He's been with the firm since 2004.

Jonathan has specialized expertise on a wide range of employee benefit services, including plan design, actuarial analysis development and funding strategies in alignment with corporate objectives, and the determination of accounting implications associated with ongoing plan operations. He also works with corporations on benefit and de-risking strategies and plan management.

Jonathan has extensive experience consulting on corporate pension valuations under ERISA and PPA as well as FAS and IAS pension accounting. He also has experience with post-retirement health and welfare benefit plans.

He's worked on a number of special projects including plan redesign, curtailments, terminations, and M&A. He consults to both large and small pension plan sponsors, including corporate and non-profit clients.

Jonathan currently serves in this capacity for some of the firm’s largest client relationships, including companies in the transportation, chemical manufacturing, communication and real estate industries.

In addition, Jonathan co-directs the Strategic Defined Contribution Analytics (SDCA) practice, which analyzes employee-level data to uncover human resources issues for clients as well as identify DC plan successes and challenges. The practice develops customized analyses based on DC plan and other supplemental data, and partners with organizations to develop action plans that can be subsequently measured for success.
