Mr. Reed is a Vice President and Defined Contribution Practice Director in the firm’s Boston office with over 25 years of experience. He has extensive expertise in the management of retirement plans, specializing in strategic guidance, plan design, plan mergers, investments, administration, governance and communications. Mr. Reed has worked with many corporate and not-for-profit clients on all aspects of retirement programs and has specialized experience in defined contribution plans. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Reed served as Managing Director of Retirement Services for an employee benefits consulting firm in Boston where he worked as a registered investment advisor providing technical and investment consulting services for defined contribution plans. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Account Executive for a major asset management firm where he consulted with clients on their 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit and other retirement programs.
