Yes, you should be concerned and should not respond. We never require candidates to pay a fee to apply for a job. Any social media posts or text messages about job openings that use our company’s name and request personal information and/or a fee are fraudulent.
No. Because we value a personal approach to job interviews, we do not conduct them via chat, text messages or job boards.
Application submission: Candidates apply either through Segal’s official job listings or by submitting an open application if no current role fits.
Acknowledgment: Upon receiving an application, Segal sends email confirmation.
Interview process: If selected, candidates participate in interviews with HR, the hiring manager and relevant team members. The number and type of interviews vary depending on the scope of the role.

No roles at Segal have sales quotas per se. Business developers have sales goals. Consultants and client relationship managers have goals for billable hours, and some of them also have goals for new business.
Like new hires in any role, you can expect a lot of training and guidance when you start in a client-facing role. Your leaders, manager and colleagues will work closely with you to get you up to speed on expectations and the client work you’ll be doing. You’ll meet clients directly — virtually and in person — depending on needs and the cadence of client work. We are proud of how we build longstanding and close relationships with our clients. Your work will contribute to the overall success of client relationships.
There is no typical client team at Segal because we staff each client team based on the client’s unique needs. Our approach to consulting is holistic, which means a client team may draw on the expertise of multiple practices so we can deliver custom solutions to the client. You’ll benefit from hands-on experience and have the opportunity to learn from your peers and project leaders.

Yes. Segal Marco Advisors has a professional development program called Knowledge Empowers You (KEY). KEY features a mix of internal and external subject matter experts covering topics on our services, the industry and topical matters related to investments.
We have a tool called Career Navigator that helps everyone determine what skills to master and what competencies to demonstrate so they can move to the next level in their careers. We also have a resource called Growing Your Career at Segal that recommends self-directed training based on an individual’s level within the organization and their career goals.
