These business units include Administration and Technology Consulting (ATC), Benefit Audit Solutions, Communications, Compensation and Career Strategies, Insurance Brokerage Services and Organizational Effectiveness. In addition, Stu will also be responsible for developing Segal’s AI strategy, overseeing our acquisitions and strategic partnerships, as well as our firmwide project management function.

Prior to his COO and Regional Leader roles, Stu spent more than 20 years as the Practice Leader for Segal’s Administration and Technology Consulting (ATC) practice,, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of a wide variety of consulting services that assisted public sector, multiemployer and corporate clients create operational efficiencies, improve member and participant services, reduce administrative costs, better leverage technology and increase internal controls. His expertise includes business process analysis and redesign, organizational and operational redesign, benefits administration system selection and implementation management and information technology assessments.
Stu recently completed his ninth year on Segal’s Board of Directors. Stu is the Chair of Segal’s Information Technology Steering Committee. He is also the Founder and an Advisory Council Member of Segal’s Information Technology (IT) Summit, a group dedicated to bringing benefits technology experts together to share ideas and industry best practices. The group continues to host an annual client conference that started in 2007.

Stu received a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University and an MBA in Finance from Long Island University and completed significant course work in Information System Management at Pace University. Stu has also completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training Program.
