Mr. Tenuta is an Assistant Actuary in Segal's Toronto office with over 15 years of experience. He consults on corporate and multiemployer pension plans and assists with expert witness reports generated for litigation purposes. He also mentors actuarial staff, reviews and prepares actuarial calculations and reports and presents relevant benefit topics to clients. Mr. Tenuta has specialized expertise in pension plan funding and conversions, accounting and investment issues, and Asset-Liability Management (ALM) and Liability-Driven Investment (LDI) studies. He also has extensive experience assisting plan sponsors through CCAA protection and strengthening client relationships.

Prior to joining Segal, Mr. Tenuta spent over 11 years at another firm, where he consulted for several mid-sized corporate clients and assisted with the technical review of multiemployer pension plans.

Mr. Tenuta holds a BS degree with a major in Actuarial Science and minor in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. He is a qualified actuary and holds Fellowship with the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries designations.
